Pilot Regatta 2024

The 2024 Pilot Regatta is the scheduled PYC summer highlight. This event
is open to anyone that can say the word “Fun”. If you are from out of town
or out of the country and have difficulty with the pronunciation, we have
trained specialist standing by to assist you.

Register to Race and compete for a trophy that is older than No.2 pencils.
If you don’t think you are ready to race your own boat, look around the next
time you are at the club. You’ve got to be as bright and have as much skill
as that guy with the white boat.

Crew on a boat that has registered or find additional crew for your needs.

Don’t have a boat but want to drive one around the courses?
Ask about using one of PYCs Colgates for the race.

We’ll have a fun social after the race on Saturday, with food and drink and a
band. Trophies will be awarded on Sunday.

The Pilot Race Committee

History:

The Pilot Races began as a One Design series for the several Hinckley Pilots members owned in the mid sixties. It has evolved into a multi division regatta featuring one-design and handicap racing across several classes.

2024 Pilot Regatta Registration structure

PHRF Racing - $125 before 4/15, $150 before 6/15 and $175 until the race

PHRF Cruising & J24/Etchells OD - $100 before 4/15, $125 before 6/15 and $150 until the race
